About
Bianca is a New York City based artist originally from New Jersey. She graduated from Montclair State University in 2017 with a BFA in Drawing. She currently works primarily as an oil painter and uses her practice as a time of self-reflection. Bianca uses vibrant colors and the portrayal of light against the female form to emphasize the importance of vulnerability. It is within these moments that our individuality is discovered.
Statement
My work focuses on individuality and the importance of self-reflection. The women I paint are extensions of myself as I use the creation of these paintings as a time to find clarity in my own life. In this way each has a bit of myself in them. Bathed in color, each subject defies convention, asserting their own individuality.
